The stunning Carley Stenson first appeared on the television series Hollyoaks in March 2000. As the character Steph Cunningham, she quickly became a household name. She left in 2010, after an explosive storyline signalling one of the most dramatic exits in soap history. She made her last appearance on December 26, 2011 as an angel showing Doug what the village would be like without him in it. In her time in the series she was nominated for five British Soap Awards, including Best Comedy Performance, Best Dramatic Performance, Best Actress and Best Exit. Carley has also appeared as a performer in Abbamania, and is a member of the all-female band Diamond.

In 2007, she was a contestant on BBC 3's Celebrity Scissorhands and has also appeared on the BBC1 show, Identity

In October 2010, she joined the West End cast of Legally Blonde playing the role of Elle's sorority 'sister' Margot at the Savoy Theatre. Then in June 2011 it was announced that she would be taking over the lead role of Elle Woods from Susan McFadden who had taken over the role from original cast member Sheridan Smith. She will stay through the production's closing on April 7, 2012. Soon after, she will replace Kimberley Walsh as Princess Fiona in the West End's ‘Shrek, The Musical’ from May 23, 2012.

Joining Carley will be former on screen co-star Anthony Quinlan, who is best known for his role in the show as huge Manchester City fan and general lad Gilly Roach. During his time in the hit show between 2006 and 2011 he was involved in a total of 261 episodes with his last appearance coming on 22nd November 2011 concluding an explosive storyline that had been ongoing for months prior to his exit.

Prior to his staring role in Hollyoaks, Anthony studied performing arts at a Manchester acting college. He was working for a Manchester modeling agency and modeled in a number of fashion shows. He also had small parts in dramas including Clocking Off before winning the role of Gilly. Anthony says: “I love playing Gilly. He’s definitely the sort of lad I would’ve knocked about with at school. Working at Hollyoaks is amazing. I watched the show for years but never believed I would be in it.

In July 2008 Anthony took part in a celebrity version of Gladiators and went on to win against his opponent, MC Harvey. Anthony is also an avid football fan and is a devoted Manchester United fan, despite his alter ego being a staunch Manchester City fan.
